What are your levels of teams?

We have 4 levels of teams. Silver is our beginner level. They will practice twice a week and participate in 6 tournaments. White is our second level. They will also practice twice per week, and participate in 8 tournaments. Red is our next level. They will practice 3 times per week (2 indoor practices and 1 outdoor practice at our sand volleyball facility) and participate in 9 tournaments, including 1 out of state tournament. Black is our highest level of team. They will also practice 3 times per week (2 indoor practices and 1 outdoor practice at our sand volleyball facility). They will participate in 9 tournaments (except for 18 Black), including 2 out of state tournaments. Keep in mind that all age groups do not have every level. For example, U11 will not have a black and U18 will not have a Silver.

Where do I find the practice and tournament schedule?

All FEVA events can be found on our website by clicking on the FEVA Event Calendar tab or by clicking HERE. If using your phone, the calendar works best if you use Google Chrome instead of Safari. It will also be helpful to turn your phone sideways and click on Agenda mode. All tournaments, practice schedules, and any other events can be located in the calendar. If you click on the event, it will also give additional details (location, times, website address, etc.)

Can my child play if she has no volleyball experience?

Absolutely! We welcome everyone who wants to play volleyball and strive to find a team at their level.

What is the cost of tuition?

Tuition ranges from $2200-$4200 depending on the team.

Do you offer a payment plan?

We understand that this is a big financial commitment for most of our participants, so we do offer a payment plan for everyone in FEVA.

Do you offer private lessons?

We do offer private lessons. You can view the schedule for private lessons on our website or by clicking HERE. We also offer jump training, positional training, open gym, and summer camps. You can text Coach Katia at 813-784-8555 to reserve your spot for private lessons and positional training.  Information on open gym and summer camps will be on the website as it becomes available.

Do you offer college recruiting assistance?

Yes! FEVA and Gabby Delgado Sports Recruiting have a partnership that allows all FEVA members access to GDSR!

Recruiting services through NCSA, Field Level and other recruiting platforms provide ONLY the resources for parents and players do all the leg work, contacting and searching, their fees range from $1000-$3000 for these resources.

Gabby Delgado has worked with many of our athletes and has been able to place all athletes in collegiate volleyball programs on partial to full athletic-academic scholarships.  Gabby Delgado has a $400 fee per season for all underclassmen or $600 for seniors if it is their first year with Gabby.  Unlike other recruiting platforms, Gabby contacts all schools, speaks to coaches on the players behalf, walks parents and players through the recruiting process, guides players on writing emails, having conversations with coaches and all collegiate communication.  He will provide a thorough evaluation of the athlete with the help of the club director and team coach.

Do you play Open?

For those of you who are new to club volleyball, “Open” is the top level of competition at tournaments. If the team is competitive enough to play in Open, we absolutely will. However, we will place each team at the appropriate level of competition. We believe that is the best way for them to improve their skills.

Are your practices open for parents to watch?

We wouldn’t have it any other way! We can’t understand how or why any club could close their practices to their parents. You guys spend a lot of money for your children to play volleyball so you have every right to see what you are paying for. We encourage all parents to watch your child’s practice. It’s a great way to watch them progress.

What do I do if I can’t make tryouts?

We understand that not everyone can make their designated tryout date. We have make-up tryouts, and we can also make other arrangements if you can’t make it. Please give us a call, text, or email and we will get something worked out.

Do you have a set practice schedule for the entire season?

We have a set schedule for the first part of the season however once tournaments start the schedule will change based on teams playing in tournaments and whether or not the tournament is a 2-day or 3-day tournament.  This flexibility allows teams to continue to get the practices scheduled for them and other teams that are not participating to fill in those gym slots.
